Selena Gomez, an actress and singer with a huge following throughout the world. One of the projects that she's worked on and has enjoyed the most successful has been the Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Born on 22nd July 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena arrived. She was nine when she began her career in the show industry when she was offered the role of Gianna from Barney and her Friends. This was when she became one of the children who played with the most well-known anthropomorphic purple dinosaur in all of history. Selena performed on many episodes of seasons 7 and 8, which ran from 2001 between 2001 and 2003. Selena was not the only character to make an appearance on Barney and his Friends at this time. Demi Loveto also worked in the series. After leaving the series Selena Gomez auditioned for several characters in various other series and film, but not particularly successful. Selena Gomez got a role as Julie for Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire and was a part of Mini Spies 3 in 2003. Additionally, in 2006 she portrayed Emily Grace Garcia on the Brain Zapped television program. She played the role and composed a tune.
