Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to develop an interest in acting. While at his school, the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. Although he worked on TV and film but his performances on small screens have earned him a lot of recognition. This is not surprising since he has been able grab the attention of viewers by playing characters on both one side of the law. The first show he worked on was a television serial, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. In recognition of his performance on the smaller screen, he's been nominated many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that can be said to help his look attractive. They've helped him portray rough characters in a charismatic way. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
